Having good money management skills are needed more now than ever in our economy. Whether you make enough money to live comfortably, or check to check, you are going to need good money management skills to make it all work out. Here are a few tips and tricks:
Savings Account – The FDIC insures up to $250,000 of your saving in your savings account. It does earn a small return and is relatively low risk.
Couponing – Who doesn’t love to use a coupon to pay less money for a product? I have my little stack of coupons at the grocery store, and after I pay I like to look at my receipt to see how much I have saved. If you use coupons every time you shop, you definitely will notice the money you save on each shopping trip.
Save coins – I save all of my coins in a large jar. I start in January, by the end of November go cash them in. This year it came up to a little I’ve $400! I use it to help with Christmas shopping.
Dollar box – Take a box. Every time you shop, take all of the 1 dollar bills you get and put them away. After 6 months, you will be surprised at how much you have saved.
I hope some of these tips can help you save a little the more money. What are some tips you have for saving money? Drop some comments and let me know. Until next time…PeAcE!
